Mike Dietert, Jackie Heitkamp, Tobin Hoffmann
The Braunfels Foundation Trust on August 7, 2018 announced the selection of Mike Dietert, Jackie Heitkamp and Tobin Hoffman as “Living Legends of New Braunfels.” The “Living Legend” program honors outstanding individuals from New Braunfels who give of their time and talent. Their extraordinary service, involvement, and contributions have made New Braunfels a wonderful and most unique place in which to live, according to Trust President Teresa Johnson.
Dietert, Heitkamp and Hoffmann are the 14th class of Living Legends, and they join a celebrated group of community leaders. They will be honored at the Trust’s Celebration Luncheon on October 1, 2018, at the McKenna Event Center.
The Braunfels Foundation Trust was founded after the community of Braunfels, Germany presented a monetary gift of $1,500 of support following the devastating flood of 1972.
Proceeds from the 14th annual event will benefit programs to support vocational and technical training and continued education in Comal and Guadalupe County through scholarship programs for graduating high school seniors. The Braunfels Foundation Trust also provides facilities for Communities in Schools of South Central Texas.
